Woman falls to her death posing for photo to celebrate lockdown easing

A 31-year-old woman has reportedly fallen to her death while taking a photo to celebrate the easing of some COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
Olesia Suspitsina is said to have been hiking up Turkey’s Duden Peak when she slipped and fell into open waters 35 metres below, Sputnik Turkey has reported.
The woman from Kazakhstan was finding a spot to pose for a photo on the celebratory hike she was taking with a friend.
She allegedly lost her balance after slipping on some grass while finding a picture spot on a cliff.
According to local media outlet News 1, the pair had been drinking wine and doing a video chat to another friend before the incident.
“When Olesia was talking on video she asked me to take a picture of herself. She fell while looking for a place on the cliffs to take pictures,” she told News 1.
